See inside Donald Trump's $100million Trump Towers penthouse

The president-elect will soon leave his palatial abode on New York's Fifth Avenue to take up residence at the White House. His tastefully furnished $100million pent house at the Trump Towers was decorated in a true billionaire style.

The three-storey property which he developed himself was completed in 1983. The opulent home has breathtaking views of Central Park and over-the-top decor starting with the gold and diamond front door that greets visitors.

Inside is an eccentric scene - floor-to-ceiling marble, chandeliers, pillows bearing Trump's coat of arms, statues and art worth millions of dollars.

It is currently home to Trump, his third wife Melania, 46, and their son Barron, 10. Its posh interior was designed by Angelo Donghia - also referred to as 'the Saint Laurent of sofas'. The designer took inspiration from The Versailles, the largest and most luxurious palace the world had ever seen, built by King Louis XIV of France who led an absolute monarchy from 1643 until 1715.

'Pep Guardiola banned Lionel Messi from having sex after midnight' - Man City footballer Samir Nasri reveals

Man City footballer Samir Nasri, currently on loan at Sevilla, has revealed how Man City coach, Pep Guardiola, who was once a Barcelona coach,  banned Barcelona player Lionel Messi from having sexual relations after midnight. He also revealed that Guardiola also banned the Man City team from doing the same thing so that the players can be stronger at morning and recover from muscular injuries.
Nasri was one of a number of players who failed to convince the Spaniard of his fitness and worth to the team, he later joined Sevilla on a season-long loan deal in the final days of the transfer window.
He has now revealed his first impression of Guardiola and how their relationship was before he left on loan.
“I’ll be honest, I fell in love with (Jorge) Sampaoli (Sevilla coach)” Nasri admitted to L'Equipe magazine. He’s a mix between Bielsa and Guardiola, with whom I was with in preseason and he made me realise some things. Guardiola told me that I was a mess, he told me several times and even kicked me in the butt, literally.
“When I returned from holiday having had a year with injury problems and personal life problems, I was a little out of shape. Not as much as what was said but a few, four kilos overweight; For Guardiola, over 2.5 kilos and you do not you train with the group.”
“Guardiola told me with your qualities you should not be at Manchester City, you should be at Barcelona. We had some discussions, he wanted me to stay and play for him. I told him no, because he couldn’t assure me a first team place, I wanted to play. He told me he thought I was making a mistake, but I still have a 2 year contract.
“For him, his players sexual activity must take place before midnight in order to get a good night sleep – even if they are free tomorrow. He (Guardiola) said that he placed this rule on Messi and his muscles improved since.”
'He told us this is how he managed to get the best out of [Robert] Lewandowski too and for them to avoid the maximum number of muscular injuries. He suppressed many things that were in the kitchen.'
'With Guardiola, on the first day of training, you know how you should play, how to squeeze and also how to stand off the ball,' he said. 'The next day, you have videos for everything that you have to do. He will not bully you, but he will do everything to make you progress, to get you to know you how to position yourself and how to play. He's a picky person.'

History teacher suspended for comparing Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler

An American history teacher has been suspended for comparing US president-elect Donald Trump to Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler during a post-election lesson with his students at the Mountain View High School, Bay Area, California.
According to several reports, the 65 year old veteran History teacher identified as Frank Navarro was asked to go home during the school hours after the school administrative team received a complaint email from a parent about the statements he made in the class on Thursday, November 17, 2016.

Explaining the situation to New York Daily News what led to his suspension, Frank who has taught at the Mountain View High School for forty years said:
‘This feels like we're trying to squash free speech, everything I talk about is factually based. They can go and check it out. It's not propaganda or bias if it's based on hard facts, I had a short lesson paralleling Hitler with Trump when Hitler was running from 1930 to 1933. Hitler said he would make Germany great again, and Trump said he would make America great again.’

Nigerian footballer and Fulham FC foward, Omatsone Aluko named English Championship Player of the Month

Nigerian and Fulham FC winger, Omatsone Folarin Aluko, has been named the Sky Bet Championship Player of the month for October. The 27-year-old scored a solo effort against Barnsley, then had a hat-trick of assists in a memorable display against Huddersfield.
Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic said:

"I am very happy for Sone getting this award as he has worked hard for the team over the past months, so it is a good reward for him.
"We have seen an improvement to our results of late, so it is also a reflection on the whole team, and I want that hard work to continue so that many of my players will be eligible for this award in future months.”

Aluko said it's a great feeling to be recognised with this award.
"It’s a nice feeling to be publically rewarded for your efforts. Ultimately I think it’s a team award. I wouldn’t get this award if the team weren’t winning and it’s a credit to my team-mates and all the staff who have provided me with a platform to play well on. The results have gone our way recently and because of this I’ve been able to show my best form."

Sky Sports’ EFL pundit Don Goodman said:
"It’s great to see Sone doing so well under Slavisa Jokanovic at Fulham after he was so unlucky with injuries at Hull.

Born in England, Aluko was capped by England at all levels up to under-19 before accepting an offer to play for Nigeria. His sister, Eniola Aluko is also a professional footballer who plays for Chelsea Ladies and England Ladies.

‘They have insatiable taste for women and beautiful ones at that! - Ben Bruce compares Donald Trump to Obansanjo

Senator Ben Murray-Bruce took to his Facebook page today to a lenghty piece he wrote ‘Like Trump Like Obasanjo’, where he compared US president elect Donald Trump to former President Olusegun Obasanjo. According to Senator Bruce, Donald Trump and Obasanjo who can be brash and outspoken undeniably have an insatiable taste for women and beautiful ones at that. Read his post after the cut

‘Like Trump Like Obasanjo
On the morning of Saturday the 20th of February, 2016, I was having breakfast at Eko Hotel with a friend of mine, Reno Omokri and one of the top Democratic Party strategists in the US and an argument ensued. Omokri said Trump would go all the way while the American said he was not going anywhere. I joined the conversation by saying that Trump is a phenomenon and no one knows how far he will go.
Today, I sit here writing this piece pleasantly stunned that what the mainstream media, what the establishment and what the powers that be said could never happen has happened due to this phenomenal man's belief in himself when others did not believe in hm.
I have met Donald Trump one on one before and what I clearly remember about him is that he is a White and younger version of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
The two of them can be brash and outspoken but they always seem to come out on top by some sort of divine arrangement that makes whatever they do turn out for the best even if it began with controversy.
More similarities between the duo is that they both undeniably have an insatiable taste for women and beautiful ones at that!
Then again, they are both men who have succeeded in business and, even though they were political outsiders, they extended their business success to politics.
And even though there is a lot of anxiety in the Black world and especially Nigeria, I believe that a Trump Presidency would be better for Africa and Nigeria than a Hillary administration.
For one, Boko Haram are now afraid. Very afraid! This is a man that is not afraid to use the word radical Islamic terror and to declare to all who care to listen that he will be their nemesis.
Nigeria needs such a partner!
We are spending way too much of our resources on fighting terrorists. We need a big strong hand to help us fight them. A hand that will not be afraid to sell us weapons and will not make us grovel before it is willing to help us destroy our enemies who want to destroy us.
But secondly and very importantly, Nigeria is an oil producing nation and though I believe that it is what is between the ears of our people that will make this nation great, we still need foreign exchange and Hillary's plans for alternative energy was not going to see the price of oil go up anytime soon.
But Trump won in Texas because the oil industry knows that they have a friend in him, and any friend of Texas big oil is a friend of Nigeria.
And forget about all that talk about immigration reform. Trump will not stop Nigerians from entering the US. The US needs Nigerians more than Nigerians need the US.
Without Nigerian healthcare professionals, the US health industry would collapse overnight. Neither Trump or Hillary wanted that.
Trump's rhetoric was directed more at Mexican immigrants because of the immediate threat posed to the US by illegal immigration from Mexico.
Having said that, let me add that the last similarity between Trump and former President Obasanjo is that they both look not very intelligent, but their looks betray their vast knowledge and deep wisdom. You meet them and size them up by their looks and end up underestimating them.
But when they reach into their reptilian brain and come out with strategies it becomes too late to do what you should have done.
I am glad that Trump won and I cannot wait to see how he will change the world positively.
But one thing is clear, any politician who underestimates the role of social media in the battle to win the hearts and minds of the people is a politician that is going the way of the dinosaurs.

Social media and particularly Twitter was the weapon Trump used to fight the mainstream media. Social media is the ultimate form of democracy in that it gives the underdog a vehicle to amplify his or her voice against a biased media that wants to suppress it.

“You represent the best of America, and being your candidate has been one of the greatest honors of my life. I know how disappointed you feel, because I feel it too....

'This is painful, and it will be for a long time. But I want you to remember this. Our campaign was never about one person... it was about building a country that we love... We have seen that our country was more deeply divided than we ever thought...'

'We must accept this result... Donald Trump is going to be our president... we owe him an open mind and a chance to lead.

“we must defend the values of non-discrimination and the rule of law and equality before the law.

''Advance the values we hold most dear.”

“We’ve spent a year-and-a-half bringing together millions of people...

“And to Bill and Chelsea, Mark Charlotte Aidan.. my love for you means more than I can ever express. You criss-crossed this country on my behalf and lifted me up when I needed it most.

“To the talented and dedicated staff, You poured your hearts into this campaign... you were the best campaign that anybody could have ever expected or wanted.

“And to the millions of volunteers, community leaders, activists and union organizers...I want everybody coming out... and make sure your voices are heard going forward.

'To the donors, the young people in particular, i've had successes and setbacks,” “Sometimes really painful.”

“You will have successes and setbacks too. This loss hurts. But please never stop believing that fighting for what’s right is worth it.”

'And to all the women.. who put their faith in this campaign and me... I want you to know that nothing has made me prouder than to be your champion.”

“I know we have still not shattered that highest and hardest glass ceiling, but I know someday someone will, and hopefully sooner than we might think right now.

“And to all the little girls who are watching this, never doubt that you are valuable... and deserving of every chance... to pursue your own dreams.”

“I'm incredibly honored and grateful to have had this chance.”

“May God bless you and may God bless the United States of America.”
